VILLA VOID | Yesterday is the old architecture, the ancient buildings. They socially function very well, make social interaction possible, both internally (the way a family can live together) and externally (the way they are plugged into the city). Build with tradition, local materials, natural ventilation and so on. Designed not with a strong concept, but very well executed. Designed with a void concept, a VILLA VOID.

NUCLEUS | The balance of social interaction is organized by the NuCLeuS. A central void space, a black hole. It connects the villa with the garden and the street. It is the central point that is surrounded by other rooms, even the more individual bedrooms. It organizes the family internally, but also in relation to the neighborhood (the city). Key is the NuCLeuS

GARDEN | The Patio de los Naranjos in Mezquita Cordobada, is a garden with orange trees. Like wise the garden of ViLLa VoiD is full of trees, though not orange but lemon. They provide the garden with enough shadow and a nice smell.
