THE CRESCENT
The place is to big and to open just to put some cabins on. It needs a structure. Like Richard Long (1945, British artist) who makes minimal invasive marks (sculptures) in nature (landscape) by replacing existing objects (stones, wood) and thus giving that place a structure, a new look. This transformation of the landscape in SKRUNDA is also minimal, not by replacing but by simply ADDING trees. Thus transforming an open space into an invasive CRESCENT defined green opening. It makes all the difference.
